Care policy

Care and maintenance

Care content builds confidence before purchase and reduces avoidable warranty disputes after delivery.

Daily useUse coasters, placemats, trays, and soft cloths. Clean spills quickly and dry the surface after wiping.

CleaningUse pH-neutral stone cleaner or mild diluted soap approved for the stone. Avoid acidic, abrasive, bleach, alcohol, acetone, and harsh bathroom cleaners.

Heat and impactDo not place hot cookware directly on the surface. Avoid dragging ceramics, metal, glass, or heavy objects across the stone.

Marble and travertineExpect patina over time. Etching, pores, and natural movement should be understood before choosing these stones for high-use settings.

Quartzite and sintered stoneThese can be more practical for high-use settings, but they still require appropriate handling, cleaning, and specification.

ResealingSealing requirements depend on stone, finish, use intensity, and cleaning regime. The quote or care pack should state the recommended approach.

Next step

Not sure which stone suits the use case?

Ask before quoting. Some materials suit high-use commercial, outdoor, bathroom, or family dining environments better than others.
